Little SEO tricks for the Internet marketing newbie
Internet marketing strategy:
Let me get one thing straight: I am NOT a fan of search engine optimization (SEO). This is a strategy which every Tom, Dick, Harry and their dogs seems to be using, and that is what I don't like. I just don't like the idea of following the majority, and that is why I am now veering towards unconventional traffic generation methods.
However, if you are an Internet marketing newbie, and would like to take the plunge and dive into the SEO battle field, I have got some little tips for you.
Before you can start on anything, you would need to do some research on your keywords for your niche market. For example, if your niche is dog training, you can go for a keywords phrase like "Dog behaviour training".
Once you have settled on your keywords phrase, the next step would be to place them in the following places of your website:
1. The Title
If your name is Peter for example, you can structure your title in the following way: "Peter's Dog Behaviour Training Site".
2. In the URL
This is very obvious, but I am very surprised to see that many people are not doing this. Even if the keyword rich domain is already taken up, you can always use a bit of creativity.
For example, you can assign your keyword-rich URL in the following way : Dog-behaviourtraining100.com. Just combine your keywords with some numbers behind.
And of course, don't forget to sprinkle your keyword phrase throughout your webpage to fully optimize it.
To Your Success,
Wyatt, the "Mr. Believer"
