The Rich Jerk: You Can Hate Him, But He Is A True Genius

I remembered when I first came across The Rich Jerk’s website, I was absolutely in awe of his sales copy.

The first thing that struck me was the language he uses. Damn, it was so strong and offensive that anyone with a weak heart would have fainted after reading The Jerk’s message.

Well, he is lazy, rude, offensive, dislikes people, and most important of all, he is an online multi-millionaire. And he certainly tells it like it is – no bullsh*t, just straight to the point.

The Jerk makes use of what is known as “Reverse Psychology” marketing. Many times in his sales copy, he tells people to get out of his site, and not to buy his e-book. This method plays on the minds the visitors, and make them think: why is this jerk driving us out of his site?

This kind of reverse psychology marketing makes people even more curious, and more motivated to want to find out what the fuss is all about, and that is the main reason why the Jerk is so successful with this website.

Yours truly was taken in by his so damn special sales copy. It was so compelling, and so out-of-the-box that I must buy it to see if the Jerk really lives up to what he claims in his sales message. Well, I guess US$49 is not a big price to pay for the opportunity to change my life for the better.

His e-book began with a congratulatory message that says: Apparently you do have a brain! Thank you very much, Mr. Jerk.

As I began to read with interest, the more I read, the more I was intrigued. His writing style is so much different from the rest of the so-called gurus. I was hooked from start to finish. In fact, I finished the entire book in one night. Yes, it was that compelling.

He delivered what he promised – it was short, sweet and to the point. No boring long tales, or “stomach churning, mambo Jambo” crap. And the best part is that he sprinkled his e-book with a touch a humor to make sure that you won’t fall asleep half-way through. Some of the tactics he mentioned border on the unorthordox to the downright devious.

His first chapter is enough to turn you into a copy writing expert, even if you have never done it before. His copy writing tips is based on the same concept as what is seen on his Rich Jerk website – reverse psychology marketing, combined with other tactics that will make your sales copy simply irresistible.

He went on to talk about making money through Google’s Adsense and Adwords, though I am not sure how effective his tactics remain to be since the so-called “Death of Adsense”. But he does give valuable resources on where to find cheap Pay-Per-Click advertising services. So if you find Google’s Adwords too expensive, you can check out some of his other useful recommendations.

He also shows you how to write Adwords campaigns in a way such that the people who view your ads will click on it, because they will be so compelled to do so. Needless to say, his Adwords strategy also has reverse psychology written all over, plus a bit of humor thrown in for good measure.

Besides Adwords, he went on to talk about unorthodox search engine optimization tactics, how to sell on eBay, and he even shows you some of his past websites that had made him millions.

If you are a beginner, the Jerk will guide you through the ABCs of marketing on the Internet in Chapter 7.

Overall, I can safely say that the Rich Jerk’s e-book is one of the best investments I have ever had, considering the many other crap e-books that I had bought before. The Jerk’s book is really a breath of fresh air, and he really delivered what he promised. Unlike other e-books that just go on and on about useless and outdated information, he cut through all the long tales crap, and go straight to the point, and that is how to make money online the right way.
