The ONE main reason why you will FAIL at Internet Marketing

Internet marketing strategy:

Want to know the ONE main reason why people fail at Internet marketing?

Before I go on, I would like to share with you this saying: if you just follow what the rest are doing, then you will always get what the rest are getting.

Success is attracted to people who are willing to be different, and not follow what the rest are doing. And it is precisely this type of people who will succeed in the Internet marketing game. They dare to be different, and not just follow the crowd.

Take advertising for example. I am sure that you have come across a number of e-zines with advertising. So many times, you will see many ads promoting the same products or services. But worse still, the ads all look and sound the same!

This is especially true when it comes to promoting affiliate programs or products. These affiliate programs will provide you with some standard ads or templates for you to use to promote the product.

But the problem is, so many affiliates use the same ads template, which resulted in the ads being over-exposed, and they will soon becoming irritating for the readers.

The people who succeed in Internet marketing are the ones who work smart by tweaking their ads here and there, instead of being so lazy and just follow what the rest are doing.

So if you want to succeed online, you've got to be willing to do the things which normal people are too lazy to even care about.

The Verdict: So Internet marketing is DEAD? BULLSH*T!!

Internet marketing strategy:

I have downloaded the free e-book "Death of Internet Marketing" by Mike Filsaime....finally. Maybe I am the last person to do that.

The first time I saw the title of this e-book, I thought: What a load of RUBBISH!

If Internet marketing is really dead, then Mr. Filsaime would have disappeared into oblivion, retired for GOOD.

I am sorry, Mr. Filsaime, but the title of his new e-book simply does not match the contents. He had chosen a really CRAP title. Maybe he is inspired by the "Death of Adsense", but we certainly do not need another "Death" of something e-book, because such e-books can be very harmful to our health.

His e-book talks about the many difficulties of Internet marketing, and what the future holds for the Internet marketing world.

After reading the e-book, I feel its title should be something like "Internet marketing: the present, and the future".

But of course, such a title will hardly ring a bell, and Filsaime is probably trying to create a buzz by adding the "Death" word in the title.

Internet marketing is definitely NOT dead. There are still so many possibilities for you to make money online like website design, copywriting, software, online gaming, so there is certainly room for anyone who is resourceful enough to see opportunities.

But as much as I hate the title of the e-book, Death of Internet Marketing is still quite a good read.

Outsourcing on a shoe-string budget

Internet marketing strategy:

Thinking of outsourcing some of your Internet marketing efforts, but not willing to spend a lot?

Fret not. You can outsource for things like writing articles on a shoe-string budget. The key here is to go for writers from countries like India or the Phillipines. They typically charge from between US$3 to US$5 for a 400 word article.

If you are to get a westerner to write for you, the normal market rate will be between US$10 to US$25 per 400 word article. Just look at the difference!

For example, if you are to compare a freelance writer from India who charges you US$50 for 10 articles with a westerner who charge you US$250 for 10 articles of the same kind, then this is a no-brainer!

You can go check out some of the more popular outsourcing like elance.com, guru.com and getafreelancer.com.

Know Your Enemy, Know Yourself

Internet marketing strategy:

There is an age-old military quote that says: If you know your enemy and yourself, you will win every battle.

What a profound saying indeed.

In order to win in any Internet marketing battlefield, you must know what your competition are up to. Below are just some tips for you to play James Bond and "spy" on your competitors.

1. Forums

Forums are perhaps one of the best places for you to do your spying. There are all kinds of topics and dialogues going on in the forums, and chances are, you will find some of the topics that talk about your competitors.

2. Buy your competitors' products

If you have the budget to spare, then invest some of your bucks on some of your competitors' products. In this way, you will gain a valuable insight of what they are marketing, and take steps to do even better than what they have to offer.

3. Google alerts

Google alerts is a free service that will send you all the latest news from around the Internet directly to your email inbox. All you need to do is to key in any keywords that relate to your competitors, and you will have all the latest buzz about your competition at your finger tips.

4. SpyFU.com

This is an excellent spying tool that allows you to research your competitors marketing campaigns. This free and comprehensive research tool monitors almost 4.5 million domains, showing you exactly how much your competitors are paying for search advertising on a daily basis, the total number of clicks they are receiving, their average ad position, and also reveals the exact keywords that your competitors are using for their rankings in the search engines.

So go on, have fun using these comprehensive set of spying tools to kill your enemies softly, and ruthlessly.

Internet marketing news: The Karma has gotten to Google

Internet marketing strategy:

Apparently, the Karma Sutra has worked its charm and seduced Google. Well, I am talking about the Karma Sutra VIRUS.

What happened was that Google unwittingly sent out 50,000 emails to various people, all infected with the Karma Sutra virus.

The search engine giant has since come out and publicly apologized for the incident, which affected users of their video Blog group. It was reported that one of the Google employees had made the mistake, but Google did not specify the details.

So what can we learn from this?

No matter how big, rich or successful you are, you are still prone to the odd embarrassment like what Google had suffered, no thanks to the Karma Sutra "Charm".

Huh? Death of Internet Marketing? What the Hell??

Internet marketing strategy:

First, we have Death of Adsense. And now, Death of Internet Marketing???

All thanks to Mike Filsaime, we have another FREE e-book that is "going to shock the whole Internet marketing world", and create the kind of impact generated by the Death of Adsense.

This is no more than just another viral marketing ploy by Mr. Filsaime to create a buzz, and add more zest to his already popular brand name (Think Butterfly marketing).

The Death of Internet marketing talks about the current "downtrends" facing Internet marketers and details the strategies of new trends that can make future millionaires.

I have not downloaded the e-book yet, but I will definitely do so later (Hey, its FREE, right?).

Now, you have just learned one very useful copywriting tip: add the word "Death" in your headline, and you will get the whole Internet world sit up and take notice.

Before, we have Death of Adsense. Now, we have Death of Internet marketing. So what's next? The Death of Online Home Business?
